Boy, didn't realize it had been that long since i posted on my blog. I have been working a several projects. I have a couple of deep purple towels I need to monogram for my daughter's birthday - she ordered them and some monogramed pillow cases! haha Also working on "strawberry Shortcake" from The sweet life I am using 30' repo prints similar to the cover. I happened to be energetic while cutting, so I cut enough for 2 tops! Yikes! Directions are easy to follow and I think it will sew up quickly!
Have been doing some home improvement projects and they have been keeping me out of the sewing room! Since it is just me, my honey do list never completely gets done! I have the best neighbor that will come over and lend a hand. I had to install a new water cut off valve out side and that led to installing new sinks in the bathrooms after I painted the counter tops! Yes, painted! I wanted new granite counter tops, but that was way out of my budget. So a little Internet research and a trip to Walmart. Came home with 2 spray cans of Fleckstone spray and a can of polyurethane. four coats of each, allowing dry time, took about 2 days to do the front bathroom counter. I love the results. i will post some pics and the website later.
